Lucerne Low Protein (8% protein) was developed for horses that do little work and have a low protein requirement but where (extra) fibre is desired.
The Lucerne Low Protein is unique in that it contains almost half the protein of standard lucerne. The low protein content allows the administration of more lucerne, so that the horse gets more fibre.
Lucerne stimulates chewing and therefore saliva production. Sufficient saliva production is necessary for healthy digestion.
Lucerne is dried in a controlled manner, for maximum preservation of nutrients.
All the benefits at a glance:
- Lowest protein content available in a Lucerne product
- High and stable quality
- Contains 5% linseed oil, linseed oil is rich in Omega 3-6-9
