E-light comes from Kep Italia’s continuous search for excellence and innovation. Although it already boosts the lightest hats on the market, KEP Italia went further and created a hat weighing less than 400g.
E-light weighs only 396g, thanks to its 100% carbon cap, handcrafted through the autoclave process to handle the minimal aesthetic details. The autoclave process is long and complex. Specialized artisans stratify the carbon fibers by hand to obtain excellent results in terms of quality and high mechanical strength, making the cap light but equally resistant thus achieving enhanced protection notwithstanding the final lightness of the hat. E-light is undoubtedly the lightest hat on the market today, but it is also among the safest in the world.
The Naked model, in gloss or matte, is devoid of any other insert, in order to enhance even more the carbon texture. The models with 2 or 3 inserts are either matte or gloss caps with black, green, burgundy or blue details, to suit each rider’s tastes.
