We as customers ourselves hate it when we order something online and the shop has to order it in, but doesnt say anything. 5 days go by and no stuff. You call the shop then they say, "oh sorry, we had to order it in" you are at that stage where you have waited 5 days so you reluctantly agree to wait the few more for the item.. annoying!
We don't work like that at Just Riding, if an order comes through and for whatever reason we don't have it and have to order it in we contact you immediately and tell you. "Hi There, you just placed an order for some riding boots which we sold out of and we need to order in, this will take approximately 3 weeks. Do you want to wait or would you prefer a refund?"
You get to choose right away and are not inconvenienced as you are in example number one.
If you have opted to wait, we will keep you updated on any progress we are made aware of, we'll keep in touch anyway whether the supplier has contacted u or not because we like to do that.
If you were told for example "3 weeks" and the supplier is having a problem and it go's past this estimate, we will once again give the option of a refund. We will also ensure that you receive a percentage discount on any subsequent order you make with us.
No service is perfect but we do believe that we do everything we can to get as close as possible when it comes to looking after our loyal customers.
